Designer children's jewellery - Made in France
Princesse d'un Jour has been offering designer bridal jewellery and accessories for 10 years now. Often, at wedding fairs, I received requests to create jewellery for little girls, either to embellish a bridesmaid's outfit or simply for a birthday or party. When I created my very first pieces, I immediately fell in love with children's jewellery.
Seed pearls, which I've always used and which feature in almost half of my creations, are a material perfectly suited to jewellery for little princesses, because of the colours and creations they create. That's when the children's jewellery collection appeared on www.princessedunjour.com.
As with wedding jewellery, the collection is designed as a set. In other words, most models come with a matching necklace, bracelet and hair clip. The materials used are the same as for the wedding jewellery: seed pearls, Swarovski crystal, porcelain and rhodium-plated solid silver clasps.

Colourful flowers and butterflies
The flagship creations are the ‘Flower’ and ‘Butterfly’ models, which can be ordered in a multitude of colours ranging from pure white to apple green. The choker is mounted on a flexible cable and the flower or butterfly on the side is made using metal wire so that the design can be modelled. The ‘little flowers’ or ‘little butterflies’ models are chokers and wristbands dotted with flowers and butterflies in Swarovski crystal.
The necklaces come in 3 different sizes depending on the child's neck size, and the age is also indicated if the neck size is unknown and the necklace is a gift. As for the bracelets, they come in one size only (12-14cm) because children's wrists don't change much. All the clasps have rings that allow the size of the jewellery to be adjusted by 2cm.
