1. Terms of Sale
It is specified that these terms of sale concern exclusively Internet sales of Princesse d’un Jour bridal jewellery and accessories. These conditions apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, including those applicable to sales in stores.
Article 1 - Prices
1.1 - The prices of our products are indicated in euros all taxes included but excluding shipping and handling (see Time and Cost). We are not subject to VAT.
1.2 - For orders to countries other than France you are the importer of the product concerned. For all products shipped outside the European Union and overseas territories, the price will be identical as we do not charge VAT. Customs duties or other local taxes or import duties or taxes of state may be due. These rights and are not within the jurisdiction of Princesse d'un Jour. They will be your responsibility and under your full responsibility, both in terms of returns and payments to the authorities and organizations relevant to your country. We advise you to talk about these issues with your local authorities.
1.3 - Princesse d’un Jour reserves the right to change prices at any time but the products will be charged on the basis of the rates in effect at the time of checkout.
1.4 - All products remain the property of Princesse d’un Jour until full payment of the price.
1.5 - Princesse d’un Jour is not intended to be sold to professionals. .

Contractual information is presented in French and there will be a confirmation containing the contractual information when you checkout.
Article 3 - Validation
You declare to have read and accepted these Terms of Sale before placing your order. The validation of your order implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Unless proved otherwise, the data recorded by Princesse d'un Jour constitutes proof of all transactions made by Princesse d'un Jour and its customers.
Article 4 - Availability
Princesse d’un Jour is a retailer and does not sell in large quantities. Princesse d’un Jour reserves the right to refuse orders for the same product in large quantities and that from 3 identical items. Our product offerings are valid as they are visible on the site, within the limits of available stocks off promotional listed as such on the sites. In the event of unavailability of a product after placing your order, we will be notified by mail. Your order will be canceled and no bank debit will be made.
Article 5 - Delivery
1.1 - General
The products are delivered to the shipping address you provided during the checkout process, on or before the date indicated on the payment page before validating the order. The deadline for delivery is the shipping date stated in the schedule section plus the time of processing and shipping. When you order multiple products at the same time and that they have different delivery dates, date of delivery of the order is based on the latest date. Princesse d’un Jour reserves the right to split shipments. The participation fee for processing and shipment will be charged for one shipment only. In case of delayed shipment, an email will be sent to inform you and to propose a new delivery date. In any event, according to legal provisions, in case of late delivery of more than 7 days, you get the opportunity to cancel your order within 60 days. In this case, if you received the product after having cancelled it, we will reimburse the product plus the shipping costs spent to send the product to the customer, one way only, if we receive in return the product in complete working order in its original condition. We also invite you to contact Customer Service for any questions or problems that might arise. In case of payment by credit card or unitary and split deliveries, only products shipped are charged. In case of payment by check, your order will be shipped upon receipt of the check by us.
5.2 - Reserves
You must notify the carrier and Princesse d’un Jour of all details regarding the delivered product (eg damaged package, package already opened ...). According to the cases specified in Article 9 below, you can beneficiate of the conditions of exchange and refund in this article.
Article 6 - Payment
The payment of your purchases can be made:
- By credit card
- By bank transfer.
Article 7 - Security
If you choose to pay by credit card, our credit card payment is secured by "La Banque Postale".
Article 8 - Right of withdrawal
8.1 - In accordance with the laws in application, you have a period of 7 calendar days from receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal with Princesse d’un Jour without having to give any reasons or to pay penalties.
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal within the above mentioned period, only the price of the product purchased and the postage will be refunded and not the cost of return which is at your charge.
Returns are to be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, tags...) for their remarketing in new condition. They must be accompanied with a copy of the invoice for optimal management.
8.2 - Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for orders called "made to order": all orders made in a “made to order” colour or a change of design made in accordance with the customers wish. Note that the standard colours are those shown on the relevant products. A piece of jewellery made to the customer’s measurements is not considered as “made to order”.

Article 9 - Compliance of Products
We undertake to refund or exchange products which are damaged or which do not correspond to your order. In this case, we ask you to make a detailed statement in writing and to send us back the product. Princesse d’un Jour will exchange or refund the product. The shipping costs will be reimbursed on the basis of the rate charged and the return costs will be reimbursed on presentation of receipts. In any case, you benefit of the legal compliance against hidden defects and in accordance with legal provisions, especially those specified in Annex 1. The provisions of this section do not prevent you from beneficiating of the right of withdrawal detailed in Article 8.
Article 10 - Refunds
Refunds of products in the cases referred to in Articles 8 and 9 will be made as soon as possible and no later than 30 days following the date on which the right has been exercised. Reimbursement will be made by Princesse d’un Jour to the customer, by credit on the customers credit card or bank transfer.

Article 12 - Intellectual Property
All texts, comments, articles, illustrations and images represented on the Princesse d’un Jour website are strictly under copyright as well as intellectual property and this in the world. As such and in accordance with the code of intellectual property, only use for private use subject to different rules even more restrictive of the code of intellectual property is permitted. Any reproduction or representation of all or part of the Princesse d’un Jour website or some or all of the elements found on the website of Princesse d’un Jour is strictly prohibited.
Article 13 - Liability
The products are compliant to the French legislation. The responsibility of Princesse d’un Jour cannot be incurred for non-compliance of the country where the product is delivered. It is your responsibility to check with local authorities the possibilities for import or use of products or services you plan to order. The photos are for illustrative purposes. Please refer to product description of each product to know the precise characteristics, and if in doubt or if you want further information please contact us using the contact form. Princesse d’un Jour is responsible for the content of pages it publishes. Our products have performance consistent with business practice even if Princesse d’un Jour is not intended to be sold to professionals. Princesse d’un Jour cannot be held liable for any damages whatsoever resulting from a professional selling it’s products.
Article 14 - Applicable law - Disputes
This contract is subject to French law.
The language of this contract is the French language.
In case of dispute, French courts will have juridiction.
Article 15 - Personal data
The information and data about you is necessary to manage your order and our trade relations. They can be sent to companies that contribute to these relationships such as those responsible for the carrying out of orders for services and their management, shipping, treatment and payment. This information and data are stored for safety in order to meet legal and regulatory obligations and thus to enable us to enhance and customize the services we offer and the information we send you. In accordance with the information technology law of January 6, 1978, you have a right to access and correct or oppose any personal data about you. Under current regulations, your request must be signed and accompanied with a photocopy of an identity card bearing your signature and specifying the address where we should send the reply. A response will then be sent within 2 months of receipt of the request. Depending on your choices made when creating or consulting your account, you will be likely to receive offers from our company and partner companies. If you do not wish to receive these offers anymore, you can at any time formulate this request by using our contact form. Our website is also designed to be particularly attentive to the needs of our customers. That is one reason why we use cookies. The cookie is designed to indicate your presence on our site. Appendices
Article L211-4 Consumer Code The seller must deliver goods in compliance with the contract and is responsible for any defect on the product at the time of its delivery.
Article L211-5 Consumer Code To comply with the contract, the property must:
1 - Be fit for use normally expected of a similar product and, if applicable:
• match the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that he has presented to the buyer as a sample or model
• have the qualities that a buyer can reasonably expect given the public statements made by the seller, the producer or his representative, particularly in advertising or labelling
2 - Or have the characteristics defined by mutual agreement by the parties or be fit for any particular purpose for which the buyer made known to the seller and the latter accepted. Article 1641 Civil Code The seller is responsible of all hidden defects of the product he has sold which make this product unfit for the use for which it was intended or which diminishes the use of the product at the point that the buyer would not have bought the product or would have paid a lower price if he had known. Article 1648 Civil Code, paragraph 1 The buyer has two years starting from the discovery of the defect to start an action with the seller.
